Autocorrect - Brand edition

Bizonyára Ti is jártatok már úgy, hogy a kedves rokon/barátnő/barát a telefonotok csodálatos autocorrection / t9 funkciójának köszönhetően, valami egészen elképesztő hülyeséget kapott meg a tényleges üzenet helyett (akit esetleg újonnan érintene a téma annak egy kis csemege itt a Buzzfeed-ről). Scott Wolf is hasonló problémába ütközött, amikor éppen hazafelé tartott bringájával Detroitban, és az okostelefonja az “On my bike” kifejezést rendre az “On my Nike” kifejezésre javította. Így született meg hát a copywriter részéről a Stupid Auto Correct sorozatnak az ötlete a brandek alternatív változataival (Shittles, Pony, Hand Lover, stb.), amelyekben a szokásostól eltérő módon találkozunk a jól megszokott márkákkal a szuper telefonos “fun”-nak köszönhetően:

Surely you also walked in that shoe when you are trying to send your text message to your beloved cousin / girlfriend / boyfriend but unfortunately thanks to the phone’s wonderful autocorrection / T9 function, your partner received something incredibly stupid instead of the actual message (who may be newbies on the topic, I give you some nuggets about the best fails from Buzzfeed). Scott Wolf was struggling with the same problem when he tried to get home in Detroit with his bike, and the smartphone constantly corrected the words “On my bike,” into “On my Nike”. Then the idea was born about the Stupid Auto Correct series of brands by the copywriter with the alternative versions of the most common brands  (Shittles, Pony, Hand Lover, etc):
