DESIGN THE NEXT HYPE COVER!

Hype&Hyper magazine open call

Launched in May 2021, Hype&Hyper's print magazine will celebrate its tenth issue this December, with an open graphic design call for its cover.
All national and international designers are invited to submit their entries under the given buzzword.
The competition aims for the design to represent the content and festive nature of the magazine in abstract or real terms, but also to give the designer the opportunity to present their style to the 13 countries participating in the distribution.
Entries will be assessed by Hype&Hyper's editorial and creative team.

The jury will consist of:

• art director of Hype&Hyper, László Bárdos
• graphic designer, Art Director / Co-Founder at Airplan Studio, Kalászi Benjamin
• pattern designer and illustrator, Enikő Katalin Eged
• founder of Hype&Hyper, Gergely Fáy
• CEO of Hype&Hyper, Eszter Horváth
• managing editor of Hype&Hyper, Nicolett Kovács

The winning entry will be featured on the front page.

The top 5 designs and their creators will also appear in the magazine. All entries will be shared on the Hype&Hyper social platform.

The theme of the winter issue is ‘ON THE TABLE’— which includes the magazine's focus on cereals and food, as well as strong food and drink content, all the latest business, design and lifestyle topics, and, last but not least, festive content around Christmas.
Additional keywords: nutrition, community, tranquility, prioritization

Format: final submission pdf or tiff. 300 dpi, cmyk color code
(jpg or png in case of a graphic thumbnail)
Size: 200x200 mm

Deadline: 11 November 2023

Please send your design to the following email address: hello@hypeandhyper.com.
