(English) Scandinavia, Films and Typography

It is kind of unbelievable that three years have already passed by since  the first edition of the Film Poster Design Contest that combines the passion for Scandinavian films and typography took place.

While in 2012 it was supported by N3 – Mötesplats för ung kultur and held in Sweden, in 2015 the Scandinavian House Foundation, which promotes Scandinavian culture in Hungary, has taken the challenge to give a chance to those who live in Hungary and want to show their love for Scandinavia and/or design.

Anna Farkas, Eszter Laki and Ákos Polgárdi graphic designers are the jury members, and besides awarding the top three posters, the best twelve will be exhibited.

You can find all the details on Facebook but if you’re too lazy to go there, just scroll down!

There are six simple rules to follow:

1) Design a film poster by using typographic elements only!
2) Size and format: A3 – 297mm×420mm (3mm bleed!), 300dpi, pdf file(s)
3) Maximum 3 works/person (three different films)
