OS X Yosemite design

Múlt héten volt az Apple WWDC konferenciája, amelyen ugye az új, Maverick-et követő OS X-et, a Yosemite-ot mutatták be. Mi elsősorban a design vettük szemügyre. Ami egyértelmű tendencia, hogy szerették volna, hogy teljes legyen az integráció a 2 termék között, így eltűntek az erősebb gradientek, a panelek áttetszőbbek lettek, élesebb sarkok, és a textúra sem meghatározó elem. Ami talán a legszembetűnőbb változás a fontkészlet lecserélése, amely lényegesen tette olvashatóbbá a szövegeket (amellyel egyébként eddig sem volt komolyabb gond).

(Source)Last week was Apple’s WWDC conference, where they announced their new OS X called Yosemite, after the Maverick platform. Of course there are some substential technical changes but we mainly focus on the design aspect. There is a clear trend that they wanted to complete the integration between the two Apple products (iOS and OS X), so the stronger gradient disappeared, the panels are translucent, sharp corners, and even the texture of the elements are missing. What is perhaps the most important change is the typeface, which made it clearly easier to read the text (which otherwise had no serious problems so far) on the Mac.
