That’s needless to say that after last year’s British success on the Tour de France, this year the yellow jersey belongs to the UK again after Christopher Froome is wearing the yellow jersey at the 21st stage of the Tour, who finally will win the race with a balanced performance. After this little intervention and salute, the topic itself: This was the 100th Tour de France, and Veerle Pieters immortalized this in a minimal and 100% vector-based poster series. Veerle has previously made an infographic of the race and the basic elements used by now as well for these posters. I think there are two things to focus on: the catching “charm” of the competition with the color scheme and the combination of the typographic elements (Trend, Thirsty Rough), which making it a very pleasant work.
