The Happy Show - Sagmeister & Walsh

To be honest I start to feel awkward when I write an article about this couple, they are so often appear here they compete with Google, but oh well there is no cure for all those yellow and black pencils (D&AD). This time the topic is Happy Show, prepared for long by Sagmeister before he took Jessica Walsh beside him so the workaholic gal can take on business while he works on the artistic side of the company. Perhaps this may mean that he will not close the studio every seventh year?! Who knows… Back to the exhibition; Sagmeister dreamt for long about a design exhibition, what can make people smile, so this manifested into the Happy Show. As you can see on the pictures there is a lot coming from sexual inspiration, but the guests can show their happiness throughout eating one of those yellow gum-balls. The exhibition can be seen in the Institute of Contemporary Art’s in London.
