Világjáróknak

Legalábbis a legalapabb információkat kapjuk a me&him&you dublini design csapattól az általuk bemutatott városokról. A helyek kiválasztása nem véletlen, hiszen barátaik/kollégáik ezekben a városokban próbáltak szerencsét és egy ilyen limitált print anyaggal lepték meg őket.

Párizs, London, New York, Berlin, de még Hong Kong is könnyedén felismerhető talán pont a csapat székhelye, Dublin jellegzetességei okozhatnak kisebb nehézséget, hiszen a “tű-torony” vagy éppen a poolbeg-i kémény nem szerepel a világ legkedveltebb fotói között…
A sorozat jellegzetessége, hogy a városok legmagasabb épületei, emlékművei kerülhetnek a plakátokra így nem véletlen, hogy a dublini anyagon nem a Guinness Store House, vagy a Szent Patrik katedrális kapott helyet, hanem a fent említett -a város felé magasodó- építmények.

Budapest hasonló “problémával” küzd, hiszen mi sem bővelkedünk burj khalifa szintű magasságokkal, de azért a sor végén feltüntethető pálinka kisfröccs mégiscsak arra ösztönzött minket, hogy megpróbálkozzunk vele:


Me&Him&You, the Dublin-based design team gives basic information about the cities presented to us. The choice of places is not random: since their friends/colleagues sought their luck in these cities, they surprised their friends with these limited prints. Paris, London, New York, Berlin, and even Hong Kong are the most recognisable, but maybe the home town of the team can cause some head scratching, since the Monument of Light or the Poolbeg Chimneys are not the most loved or recognized landmarks in the world.

The series of the cities are characterised by the highest buildings and memorials so these appear on the posters and it’s not a surprise why not the Guinness Store House or the Holy Patrik Cathedral, but the above-mentioned monuments appear on Dublin’s poster.

Budapest is struggling with the same “problem”, because we don’t have much Burj Khalifa height buildings, but the Pálinka Kisfröccs on the end made us a real competitor afterall:
