The cabins of Nordic Spa are hidden amongst the sand dunes on the shore of the Baltic Sea, offering a spectacular view over the sea.
If we didn’t know the nearest town is Kaliningrad, we would say the houses of Nordic Spa are standing on the coast of the Atlantic Ocean, however, both the choice of name and style says north. Russian Nord Domos (architecture) and Line Design Studio (interior and furniture design) managed to achieve an absolutely harmonious image with the two sources chosen as inspiration (the coastal and the northern).
With the building located only fifty meters from the shore, the designers wanted to help guests admire nature’s beaty, immerse in the surrounding land and of course relax.
The cabins were built in complete harmony with nature. The walls made of Siberian larch received a water-based varnish to ensure a natural finish.
The spa lies on only 130 square meters, but owing to the large windows, the space feels infinite even in the small steam cabin.
