The Kyiv-based Osnovy Publishing is an innovative publisher that, having grown together with the Ukrainian society, has had and continues to have an impact on their reading habits. Their publications deal with unique and neglected subjects such as eclectic, DIY-balconies or Soviet buildings which are now enjoying a renaissance abroad.
The Ukrainian publishing team is lucky because they know, that all their members are safe. As volunteers, they support their country, but they themselves need support too. Despite the war in their country, their webshop is still “running smoothly” and although the orders will only arrive after the war is over, their importance is all the greater.
