As part of a comprehensive sustainability strategy, sustainable packaging solutions provider DS Smith has partnered with the Ellen MacArthur Foundation to build an outdoor classroom at a primary school in Békásmegyer, creating an inspiring learning space that helps to promote environmental awareness.

DS Smith, a packaging technology company, operating in more than 30 countries around the world, has set ecological awareness as one of the five objectives of its sustainability strategy, “Now and Next,” and has built an eco-classroom at the Pais Dezső Primary School in Békásmegyer, not only to reach young people but also to actively involve them in environmental thinking. The company also plans to support the establishment of eco-classrooms in other parts of the country.
