The electric vehicle dubbed AIRO uses built-in HEPA filters to purify urban air.
The concept car was unveiled at the Auto Shanghai exhibition: it’s the first car designed by Heatherwick Studio. The electric vehicle is also capable of self-driving, and its interior can be flexibly shaped so we can have lunch, sleep and even watch movies in it. Its windows can be darkened if we want a little more intimacy.
The car is scheduled to go into production in 2023, along with a charging unit designed for it. Series production will take place under the auspices of the Chinese IM Motors, the client that commissioned the car concept.
