Anna chapel | Studio Nomad

One of our favorite Hungarian design and architect teams is Studio Nomad, who became famous with the pavilion designed for the 16th Venice Biennale and their own furniture, and who have now raised our attention with their design created for the tender announced for the renovation of the Anna chapel.

The tender was announced during spring 2018, 59 valid (!) applications were submitted, and a jury session was held in February this year to determine which applications were worthy of awarding or purchasing. They purchased 3 designs without ranking for the implementation of the mass and memorial place at Anna-rét, with the concept of Soma Pongor and Bence Pásztor being one of the three.
