A gap-filling and unique book on the architecture of Uzhhorod in Transcarpathia was published. The volume of architectural history was born in 2019 as a result of two years of research by Lina Degtyaryova and Oleg Olasin.
The bilingual publication, in which the informative texts can be read in both Hungarian and Ukrainian, guides us through the styles and style features that define the architecture of Uzhhorod. It richly illustrates twenty-three buildings from the period between 1867-1918 with contemporary recordings.
The Anker Studio in Uzhhorod was commissioned to create the graphic design of the publication. In addition to the black-and-white images, vectorized ornamentation as a decorative element is reflected in the cover design and in the volume itself.
