Hungary's best initiatives await votes in this year’s Highlights of Hungary

Fifty stories wait for audience votes on the Highlights of Hungary website until 17 February. Each person can vote for ten stories, and the nominee with the most votes will be awarded the Highlights of Hungary prize of HUF 2 million.

Technology, business, culture, science, music and sport are all represented among the inspiring and exemplary initiatives selected from Hungary and the Hungarian-populated neighboring regions. The nominees include Olympic silver medallist, world and European champion Hungarian sailor Zsombor Berecz, the emergency blood transporter Vérlovagok, the eCall emergency call system, the Székelyföldi Legendárium, which preserves the spiritual and cultural heritage of Székely Land, the Hungarian Ornithological and Nature Conservation Society, as well as the Memoár Műhely, which produces memoirs based on biographical interviews.
