The Ukrainian Maly Krasota Design studio undertook a big task in designing the newly opened ARKA store. The parameters were given: the windowless space of a basement that the designers wanted to make the most of. One of the biggest challenges in designing the interior of the store was the lack of natural light.
However, the end result speaks for itself. Elegant, spherical luminaires hanging from the ceiling, with subtle but even more extravagant neon signs filling the space with light. In the store, the illusion of sunlight comes to life thanks to smart lighting.
The store itself is unusual in its kind: it also functions as a flower shop and a café at the same time. Accordingly, a really pleasant atmosphere permeates the whole place. The light, pastel shades of pink are complemented by art deco-style shapes, completing the overall look of the interior.
