A facelift for Harrods in London

A facelift for Harrods in London

After eighty years, the historic façade of one of London’s most iconic buildings, the Harrods shopping center, is set to be restored. The first phase of the meticulous refurbishment process is now complete. The renovation was carried out by Make Architects, who were also involved in constructing the Agora in Budapest.

Drawing on historical research, the experts breathed new life into the original features of the Edwardian Baroque and Beaux-Arts style architecture while responding to the needs of today’s luxury retailers.
