Designed with two differently shaped dials, the alarm clock shows the Sun’s orbit around the globe behind rows of mountain summits and a foggy horizon.
Designer Yu Zechen conceived Sveglia Luce in two shapes: a round and a rectangular version. On the circular design, the Sun passes over a mountainous landscape, showing a picture that corresponds to the Sun’s actual position in our skies. The rectangular alarm clock also puts the Sun in the focus, with the sunrise and sunset being the clock’s main imagery.
The artistic-looking clock has adjustable volume, brightness, and alarm functions. It comes with its own app for remote use and for adjusting the display’s visuals.
