The blackest black coming to your home | Horizon Black

Superblack art pieces can now be yours thanks to a Kickstarter campaign: the project led by Tristan Thompson brings objects that absorb 99.9% of visible light to your home.

These special objects are created by growing a nanoscale array of inorganic molecules on a specially etched aluminum substrate with a chemical process. The vast majority of incoming photons are trapped due to the shape and arrangement of molecules and then radiated out in the form of heat rather than being reflected as light.

The objects will be available in 45mm, 100mm, and 200mm sizes, fixed in a transparent case with a removable lid. The 200mm version superblack will also be available without the display case for artistic purposes. You can find the Kickstarter campaign on this link!
