What is a huge playground doing in the courtyard of the Louvre?

The 2023 Louis Vuitton Spring/Summer menswear fashion show took place in an unusual setting. As part of Paris Fashion Week, a magnified playground was built in the courtyard of the Musée de Louvre: a twisting yellow playground with giant red balloon sculptures.

Launched on June 23 in the Carré du Louvre, one of the main courtyards of the former Parisian palace, the collection was created entirely by the team at the Studio Vuitton following the death of Virgil Abloh.
