Március 15-e kiemelten fontos dátum a Hype életében, hiszen a tavalyi ‘Szabadságharc Most‘ és a ‘Ragyogó hőseink‘ kreatív anyagok sikerei arra ösztönöztek minket, hogy az idei ünnep 166. évfordulójára is készítsünk valami aktuális anyagot.
A ‘Szabadságharc Most’ szereplőinek kapcsolatát aligha lehetett volna szorosabbra fűzni a tavalyinál, ahol egymás mellett mutattuk be – Vanity Fair stílusban – Batthyányt, Kossuthot, Petőfit és Táncsisot. Idén az 1848-’49-es közszereplők portréinak kicsit erősebb hangsúlyt szerettünk volna adni, így jött ötletnek a scratchboard stílus, azon belül a pénzekről jól ismert formája.
S ha már pénz, akkor legyen egy alternatív pénz, ahol Petőfi, Kossuth, Széchenyi és Batthyány egy olyan forradalmi sorozatot alkot, ami tiszteleg személyük előtt. Így született meg a ‘Forradalmi Bankó”, egy olyan fiktív fizetőeszköz ami – bár soha nem volt forgalomban –, a Szabadságharc évfordulójának napján egy erős valutaként helyettesíthetné pénzünket.

March 15th is a very important date in the life of HYPEANDHYPER , after last year’s Freedom Now and Glorious heroes’ success has encouraged us to celebrate this year’s 165th anniversary, with an outshining creative outcome.
The relationship between the prominent personalities in Freedom Now , was presented as one – Vanity Fair style – Batthyány , Kossuth , Petőfi and Táncsis . This year we wanted to give them more focus of their portrait, so we got this scratchboard style idea, with well-known standards of the money.
Along with this idea, why don’t we make an alternative currency where Petőfi , Kossuth , Széchenyi and Batthyány can have a revolutionary scene oney by one that honors the person. That’s how “Revolutionary banko” was born, a fictitious currency which – though never been in circulation – can be the companion of this anniversary of the Revolution as a strong currency.
