The Zöld Összművészeti Fesztivál (Green Arts Festival) will bring together Hungarian theatre, dance, children’s and youth programs born from the fusion of performing arts and environmental protection from 10-12 June.
The unique green event of the ZÖME FEST will include lectures, professional discussions on the climate crisis, the conscious home, and eating—with Eszter Földes, Laura Döbrösi and Endre Papp—, as well as eco-fashion shows, thematic film screenings, slam poetry, and performances, thus enriching the Budapest festival palette.
For the first time, the ZÖME FEST will also host the professional forum of the Jövő Nézőiért – Zöld Színház Project, with more than twenty cultural institutions. In addition, festival-goers can participate in hands-on workshops: the organizers are preparing a wide range of eco-conscious craft activities, from natural cosmetics to canvas bags and jewelry-making from recycled plastic.
