Victorian terrariums are the inspiration for the newly built kinetic greenhouse by Heatherwick Studio. The pyramid-shaped structures are composed of 10 steel components that support angled glass panes and were designed to resemble the sepals on flowers that protect flower buds.

The sculptural Glasshouse, created on the historic Woolbeding Estate in England, was built for heritage charity National Trust. It opens up like a crown to reveal a variety of subtropical trees and shrubs.
