Millenáris will celebrate Hungarian genius and scientific milestones with a spectacular exhibition in 2022. Opening in February, the exhibition entitled Álmok álmodói 20 – Világraszóló magyarok, világformáló találmányok (Dreamers of Dreams 20—World-renowned Hungarians, world-shaping inventions) will bring visitors closer to Hungarian achievements that have made a difference on a global scale.
The exhibition features nearly 600 geniuses and their inventions, that are still shaping our lives today. The 6,000 square meters visitor space also reveals the role of Hungarian intellectual contributions in electric cars, solar energy and computers. It will also showcase Albert Szent-Györgyi’s Vitamin C and Farkas Kempelen’s talking machine, which was way ahead of its time. The new era is represented, among others, by ground-breaking discoveries in fields including the fight against coronaviruses, network theory and space technology.
