“Skirts have power” | Rosie by Zsófia Rimóczi

Her personal journey of self-discovery has led Zsófi Rimóczi to create her personal brand and share the power of femininity through her clothes. ‘Blossom and find yourself’—this is Rosie’s motto.

Zsófi learned to crochet during her pregnancy, which led to the publication of two books, as she wanted to share the joy of making clothes for herself with a wider audience. She also learned to sew at the same time but wanted to wait until her daughter was in kindergarten before starting her own brand.

“I’ve always loved clothes; as a teenager, I adored fashion and all its new trends. Unfortunately, I have to admit that I was a shopaholic, so I bought fast fashion products by the pile, there was no beginning and no end to my wardrobe and my shopping decisions,” Zsófi confessed. Since then, just like her personality, her wardrobe has changed a lot. She has developed her own style, and along with that, she makes much more conscious shopping decisions.

Zsófi wanted to share with others the power that her skirts gave her, which led her to the creation of Rosie. “During one of the most crucial stages in my self-discovery, Rosie was a delightful companion. I wanted to make a change, to let go of my compulsions and hardness. I wanted to serve and heal the world at a higher level with pure feminine energy.”

“I wanted a brand name that was both feminine and natural. Nothing was more symbolic for me than a flower, especially a rose. A rose has many faces, it encapsulates the layered and beautiful complexity of a woman,” Zsófi explained when asked about the brand name.

It is also important for her to let people know that Rosie has a mission. She wants to strengthen the domestic economy and encourage as many people as possible to choose quality over quantity. Sustainability is also an important part of the project, as she tries to use natural materials such as linen, natural viscose, and cotton. And not only nature is grateful for this, but our skin, as well. The brand’s third pillar is femininity. She wanted to create comfortable, natural, and easily combinable garments that make every moment special.

“If I had to sum it up, I would say that softness is the perfect word to describe my new collection. Rosie’s slogan is ‘Blossom and find yourself’, and I want to bring this into many women’s lives.”
