VASVÁRI DESIGN is launching an open call for entries

VASVÁRI DESIGN is launching a public call for entries to collect and present outstanding graphic design work by Hungarian designers in a gap-filling book. As in the recently published and highly successful volume entitled MAGYAR LOGÓK (HUNGARIAN LOGOS).


The jury’s selection will be published by Scolar Publishers, the Hungarian publisher of graphic design books, under the title MAGYAR TERVEZŐGRAFIKA (HUNGARIAN GRAPHIC DESIGN). The call is open to all genres covered by graphic design: 3D, Identity, Font, Stamp, Label, Packaging, Website, Icon(s), Icon system, Illustration, Infographic, Publication, Book, Book cover, Social media, Visual design, Logo, Emblem, Album cover, Mobile application, Motion graphics, Pictogram, Poster, Information, Wayfinding systems, Other.

The jury is composed of Bill Gardner (USA), owner and president of Gardner Design and LogoLounge; Christian Baun (Denmark), a specialist in new brand and logo design; Jens Müller (Germany), Professor of Corporate Design at the Department of Design, Dortmund University of Applied Sciences and Arts; as well as prominent artists of the Hungarian graphic design scene such as the Explicit Design Studio (Hunor Kátay, Sebestyén Németh, Szilárd Kovács); the Graphasel Design Studio (Dávid Drozsnyik, László Ördögh), Nóra Kaszanyi, Zsombor Kiss, Levente Németh and Péter Vasvári.

Applications for the Hungarian Graphic Design Competition are open until 20 February.
