What to do with the decommissioned Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline? A German architecture studio has found the answer.

This time, German architecture studio Opposite Office, which is known for its provocative speculative architecture concepts, was wondering what to do with the gas pipeline Nord Stream 2 between Germany and Russia, whose launch was suspended by Germany in February.

According to Oppsoite Office, the pipeline, named Nord Stream 3 by the designers, could function as an international capsule hotel, where randomly selected representatives of the worlds’ nations could spend a month each, as, according to the studio, “only international cooperation could lead to long-term peace.”
