With the collaboration of Építészfórum (Architects’ Forum) and Architecture College, the first ever Architects’ Festival will be organized this summer. The Future Perfect art camp, which will take place between 27 June and 3 July, will be hosted on Szalki Island in Dunaújváros.
By organizing workshops, lectures, talks and cultural and community events, the Architecs’ Festival aims to explore a topic related to architecture each year. This year’s festival will be based around thinking about the future, with workshops under the banners of reflective and speculative futures open for applications until midnight on 20 May.
The event aims to combine the atmosphere of popular architecture camps and cultural festivals to create a platform for dialogue between students, researchers, thinkers and creators from architecture and related disciplines, and to provide a space for discussion of global issues affecting architecture.
Further information on the camp, the topics and the workshop is available at the website of the Architects’ Festival.
