Sustainable Hungarian design products designed for success

Hungarian Fashion and Design Agency (HFDA) launched their design LAB incubation program for the second time in the spring of 2021, the new products were finished by the first quarter of 2022. Due to the program, seven designer-manufacturer partners were supported to combine their experiences and designer creativity in new product developments.

Designers and manufacturers could apply with a mutual entry. The success of the cooperations was guaranteed by the Agency with the creation of a networking event called Speed Dating. In the end, 35 applications were received, in the focus of most of the works were sustainable design products.

By decision of the professional jury, seven designer-manufacturer partners received the support framework to start manufacturing their products: Árkossy Bútor Kft. and Máté Horváth, Flaar Mérnöki Tervező és Szolgáltató Kft. and Lehel Juhos, Kárpitos Partner Group Bt. and Annabella Hevesi, Meshlin Composit Zrt. and Apol Temesi, Rotte Kft. and Sára Kele, SIXAY Bt. and Máté Horváth, Üvegmanufaktúra Kft. and the Position Collective.

Designer and manufacturer candidates can file their joint application until 31 May 2022, with regards to the information on the official website of HFDA.
