Interactive show at the BME Researchers’ Night

BME (Budapest University of Technology and Economics) has launched its artist-in-residence program this spring. On September the 30th, at the Researchers’ Night, the two artists in residence, Ádám Boruzs, and Olga Kocsi will present their work featuring robots and camera-based time-lapse.

Using robotics, artist Ádám Boruzs will focus on the relationship between human and machine visual perception and creative intent, but visitors will also be able to explore the process and function of color perception. Olga Kocsi’s work is based on Michelangelo’s Battle of Cascina, which depicts nineteen male figures on the battlefield, while all of them appear to portray stages of a movement by a single person. Her installation will offer the possibility of capturing and freezing time.
