The fourth generation Skoda Superb will be launched in autumn 2023, 90 years after its historic predecessor was introduced.
In a new teaser video, the Czech carmaker has gathered all previous versions of the Superb around the soon-to-be-launched model, which is being kept under wraps for now. The footage comes a week after Skoda revealed the Superb’s silhouette. By comparing it directly with its predecessors, we can get a more accurate picture of its proportions, size, and shape.
Skoda’s production of the original Superb between 1934 and 1949 was only 900 units of the civilian version and 1600 units of the military version. Since 2001, however, more than one and a half million units have been sold of the modern variants of the model designation. The first generation was launched in 2001, the second in 2008, and the third in 2015.
