Sustainable production technologies | Crafts TECH

Dubbed Crafts TECH, the online event of Distributed Design Platform and Fab Lab Barcelona will present new, innovative business and production models for craftsmanship.

Those interested can join the Crafts TECH online talk series on December 10 and 11. The event focuses on opportunities offered by new technologies in digital manufacturing and the approach of distributed design. The concept of distributed design is based on the principle of global knowledge sharing, placing an emphasis on local production as well as smart and sustainable product development and manufacturing processes. The concept reinvents the life cycle of products: instead of ready-made products, it makes manufacturing data accessible globally and democratizes access to design objects.

You can learn more about the international speakers and the details of the event in Crafts TECH’s Facebook event. Crafts TECH will be delivered in Spanish.
