Sky Mountain Haikou Bay No.6, by Chinese architect Sou Fujimoto Architects, blends into the landscape with its gently undulating circular shape.
The building, designed by acclaimed Japanese architect Sou Fujimoto, strikes a balance between the man-made and the natural environment. According to Sou Fujimoto Architects, the meandering, organic architecture becomes “a stage for a new type of experience and space.”
Japanese architects are renowned for creating harmony between the man-made environment and nature through their architectural projects. Here, organic geometry and natural coastline create a delicate balance.
The walkable roof provides access to vantage points for breathtaking sunsets over the sea, as well as nearly eight hundred square meters of community and recreational space.
