The Stefan Lengyel Scholarship for Excellence has been awarded

The Stefan Lengyel Scholarship for Excellence was awarded at the Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design: this year’s winners include an algae farm, modular shoes, an adaptive architectural concept, and a vehicle that helps public sanitation.

The scholarship, which focuses on rewarding outstanding student talent, was established in 2020 by the Foundation for the Moholy-Nagy University of the Arts. This semester, the winning entries once again featured a large number of topics related to ecological sustainability and responses to various social problems. Outstanding concepts were also submitted in the fields of mobility, architecture, photography, and object creation, as well as digital product design.

Students from the University’s Department of Design, Architecture, and Media and Theory participate in the Excellence Scholarship program with their work produced during the semester. A special feature of the scholarship is that in the first round, students nominate each other for this recognition, and in the second round, a jury of university leaders, faculty, and professionals selects the 16 winning entries.
