A touch of Georgia and the enchanting world of Wes Anderson meet at Entrée Bakery in Notting Hill, London.
The central layout of the London bakery and café pays tribute to the great Georgian feasts, known as supras, where the first thing guests can choose from is a table piled with fresh, crumbly pastries. The silhouettes of the decoration, the Georgian calligraphy and the arches also evoke a Georgian feel. Designers Alex Holloway and Na Li (Holloway Li) say that the pink and blue color palette is meant to recall the unique atmosphere of Wes Anderson’s film, The Grand Budapest Hotel. The theatrics of Anderson’s films was also an important source of inspiration for the duo when designing the interior.
