Two new bike parking facilities are opening at Amsterdam Central Station, which are unique as they are located underwater.
The two sites have a combined capacity of 11,000 bicycles, making it the largest bicycle parking facility in the city. The underground parking will be connected to the metro hall and Amsterdam Central Station, allowing travelers to use public transport dry and without detours. The design was created in collaboration with the Amsterdam Museum and includes two sgraffito artworks.
