The Budapest Architecture Film Festival, organized by the Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre, will be held for the 15th time this year at Toldi Cinema from March 2 to 5.
The festival will celebrate the 150th birthday of Budapest with an unconventional line-up of films dealing with issues relevant to the Hungarian capital. The 150th anniversary of the unification of Buda and Pest coincides with the 15th anniversary of the Budapest Architecture Film Festival. While preserving its architectural heritage in its name, the festival has come to embrace all the themes that define contemporary architecture: its films also address issues of urbanism, urban politics, ecology, transportation, technology, activism, and social change.
