Exciting works were awarded by the jury of MOME’s online creative competition, Jump into the future!: the concepts created by the 7th to 10th grader contestants were thought-provoking, but also ironic.
The university addressed students and their teachers in Hungary and abroad, as well as their adult helpers: they asked them to present the world of the future as they imagine it, and to design objects, apps, or a service. The winning entry aims to solve the sustainable school meals of the future with insect-based foods. Other awards were given to a virtual therapy application to improve the quality of life of people with mental disorders, to a floating university campus, and to a game set in a post-apocalyptic environment with the goal to reboot nature on Earth, featuring a man-eating plant.
