The DECODE exhibition has been organized for the third time this year, in the framework of which the award ceremony of the DECODE Competition, announced by DECODE Contemporary Architectural and Art Foundation was also held. The exhibition bringing together young contemporary architects and artists is hosted by Faur Zsófi Gallery in Budapest.
The DECODE Award acknowledges valuable architectural projects and artworks highlighting the importance of the creative process: accomplishments inspired by exciting stories and ideas. Applicants could submit projects in the categories of architecture and visual/applied arts: out of the total of 62 projects received, the exhibitors and the award-winners were selected by a professional jury.
The exhibition showcases the projects of Sou Fujimoto Architects and BORD Architectural Studio, as well as the winners of the competition’s two categories, the special prize winner and the shortlisted projects in videos played on large screens.
The good news for the fans of multidisciplinary approach and architecture is that in light of the epidemic, the DECODE –The Space for ARThitecture exhibition will be available online for an entire year on DECODE Foundation’s website.
