IKEA France launched a fleet of 8 electric bikes towing an equipped sleeping capsule to give Parisians the chance to take a power nap between 1:30 pm and 6:30 pm. The company believes that sleep and optimal sleep experience contribute to the well-being of human beings.
It is well known that a nap is highly beneficial for health and ten minutes is enough to replenish your energy. The possibility of a micro-sleep, the so-called power nap is still far from being available everywhere, therefore IKEA created its siesta cabins so that French people can rest in a capsule equipped for a sleep break in the busy period of re-entry to work.
Firm mattress or medium-firm, light summer duvets or more thick for winter, ergonomic pillows and acoustic solutions, IKEA adapts to all needs and makes every effort to optimize resting moments. The IKEA NAP pods rolled around Paris past week for anyone to try them out.
