Art posters take over the streets of Ferencváros

Amazing art posters welcome those wandering around the streets of Budapest. The outdoor exhibition ‘Plakátváros’ (City of Posters) puts the poster as a technique, form of art and means of expression back into its original environment and rightful place: the streets.

The outdoor exhibition showcasing contemporary posters was implemented through the collaboration of the Municipality of Ferencváros, the Hungarian Poster Association and the OPLA project. The organizers present the diversity of the poster genre at two spots in Ferencváros, with the help of a total of 68 prints: in Ferenc tér, the audience can see a selection of the masters of the Hungarian Poster Association, while in József Attila housing estate, we can admire the posters of students selected by a jury.

The exhibition will be available until April 2021.
