Cartoon-like cabins built in an Austrian forest


Studio Precht has created four uniquely shaped forest cabins for guests and staff at an Austrian restaurant.

The houses are the first four iterations of Bert, a modular structure developed in collaboration with tiny house startup BaumBau to design a building with minimal floor space. Each structure is composed of prefabricated elements made from cross-laminated wood, which are then combined on site.
