As part of this year’s Night of the Museums, you’ll have the first opportunity to discover the newly opened Museum of Ethnography! The building and the roof garden will be presented by the architect and the director general, while the curators, the visual designer and film researcher András Réz will also present the exhibitions.
A spectacular part of the museum’s forthcoming permanent exhibition, a six-meter data sculpture, will be open to the public. Under the slogan “retrimming traditions,” the Willany Leó Improvisation Dance Theater, folk singer Anna Sőregi and László Lajtha’s phonograph collections, and the Mugunghwa dance company will also be presenting a surprise program of events linked to the museum’s archives. There will also be a variety of children’s programs.
