Hyundai Mobis has unveiled a new concept called M.Vision in line with the principles of shared electric cars: the taxi models dubbed M.Vision X and M.Vision POP offer a more attractive passenger experience and a contactless communication system.
The M.Vision POP is a smaller, two-person model that is uniquely designed with ‘wheel rotation’ and ‘crab driving’ technologies, and communicates with its user via smartphone. The technology called crab driving allows the M.Vision POP model to move sideways.
The M.Vision X has room for four people; its interior is surrounded by display screens on all sides, which are also the vehicle’s windows—all screens can be controlled by passengers. The cockpit communicates with passengers with contact-free gesture recognition functions and offers control over all functions.
