Get ready! Budapest Architecture Film Festival is around the corner

“Do you live in a building? Do you love the cinema? Cross borders, look around the world, get inspired and take action!” says the invitation of the Hungarian Contemporary Architecture Centre (KÉK). The 14th architecture-themed film festival will take place March 3-6 at the Toldi Cinema. The festival’s mission is to give a yearly overview of the current architectural and urban issues affecting the world, the region and Hungary.

“Think global, act local!” The concept, originating from urban planner Patrick Geddes, is more relevant than ever. In its wake, the organizers are undertaking no less of a mission than to showcase the complex, multi-stakeholder system responsible for shaping our immediate environment.
