The world's largest astronomical museum opens to the public

No straight lines or right angles can be found in this monumental astronomical museum! The building designed by the Ennead Architects echoes the geometry of the universe and the dynamics of space.

The museum will open on July 18, 2021, in one of Shanghai’s vast green zones, designed to create a direct connection between visitors and astronomical phenomena. The architectural elements of the museum act as astronomical instruments, tracking the movement of the sun, moon, and stars.
