Graduation Projects is the design diploma muster of the Visegrad countries, coordinated by the polish Zamek Cieszyn, and the Hungarian Design Council is also a professional partner of the initiative. Diploma applications can be submitted until November 3 for this year’s call (after the extension of deadline), in the categories of design and graphics.
The project is the annual muster of the students of the Visegrad countries graduating on the fields of design and graphic design. The project was first organized in 2003. The young designers can apply with BA and MA diplomas of the particular year, by submitting a brief description and 10 pictures via electronic means. The international jury assesses the applications in two rounds – the diploma projects of the two categories (design and graphic design) are evaluated by two separate field-specific committees.
The selected projects will then be exhibited on the 15th anniversary festival of Zamek Cieszyn, and the creators will have the opportunity to present their work. In addition, the organizers also strive to provide further possibilities to display the works in each year – this way, the selection of 2018 was also showcased in Vienna as part of the Vienna Design Week after the design festival in Warsaw.
Last year’s selection featured the diploma projects of five Hungarian designers:
We hope we can see a lot of Hungarian diploma projects in this year’s field, too.
Deadline for application: November 3, 2019
