Picturesque cliffs, fairytale valleys, and mystical pine forests: this is the next stop in our series presenting the regions of Poland, the Pieniński National Park.
Pieniński National Park covers the central part of the Pieniny Mountains with the peak of the Trzy Korony (Three Crowns) and the beautiful strait of the Dunajec River. This mountain range is distinguished by a variety of shapes: charming cliffs with chasms and ruffled hillsides accompany the valley of Dunajec River for hundreds of kilometers.
Visitors to the park can explore the fabulous landscape in many ways. One of the most popular activities is river boating, where you can enjoy 360 degrees of pine forests and mountains. For bolder hikers, we especially recommend conquering the cliffs, from which the valley, often hidden in mystical fog, offers an unforgettable view.
