Arclinea’s first showroom in Hungary has opened on Szabadság Square, bringing a contemporary approach to premium kitchen design closer to the Budapest audience. Spanning more than 200 square meters, the space functions both as a showroom and a meeting point, with a focus on functionality and material detail.
A new presence has entered the local design scene in one of the elegant buildings on Szabadság Square: Arclinea opened its first Budapest showroom in early May, in partnership with Code Showroom. The more than 200-square-meter space presents current directions in premium kitchen design within a clean, refined environment.

The nearly century-old Italian brand has long been shaping the concept of the kitchen. From the 1960s onward, alongside manufacturing, a design philosophy gained prominence that treats functionality and aesthetic quality as a unified whole. The launch of the Claudia model already signaled this direction early on, introducing a new way of use through a layout organized around built-in appliances. A working method developed together with Antonio Citterio further refined this thinking. The kitchen thus became a place where technological precision and Italian manufacturing culture integrate naturally into everyday life. Today, Arclinea is present not only in residential spaces, but also in hospitality projects and custom yacht interiors.
The Budapest showroom stands behind the work of Andrea Mári, owner of Code Showroom, who has been collaborating with the brand for nearly two decades. The newly opened space brings a level of quality into tangible proximity that was previously more typical of international projects. Attention is directed toward details and material use, with each element becoming fully understandable through use. “For me, Arclinea is about spaces where the rhythm of life works well. Design here is not a separate layer, but part of everyday function,” says Andrea Mári. The Szabadság Square location will also operate as a meeting point, open to architects, interior designers, and visitors alike, while presenting the latest collections and showing how the role of the kitchen in the living space is evolving today.
