Leica debuts a luxury camera

This camera, manufactured only in 750 units, was born from the collaboration of actor Daniel Craig and photographer Greg Williams. Leica sells the product at a luxury price point.

The limited-edition Leica Q2 comes in elegant black and gold, and differs from the standard version only in its exterior: tech-wise, it’s identical to it. Inscriptions on the camera are inlaid with gold paint, and for the first time in the history of the brand, its name and serial number are engraved on the device using a laser. The Leica logo, which is traditionally red, has been replaced with a black dot featuring gold lettering.

The Q2 is, for me, the perfect camera and needs no improvement. So, to have the chance to work with the amazing people at Leica and my friend, Greg Williams to create something as unique as this, has been a privilege and an honour.”Daniel Craig

The camera comes with a Nappa leather strap, with the same material appearing on its covering, decorated with an elegant pattern. Lucky customers can purchase the camera evoking the refined style of James Bond at a cost of £5,600, snuggled in a box lined with black silk.
