The International Day of Human Space Flight commemorates the first occasion when man ventured into space on the 12th of April in 1961. At the exhibition entitled Álmok álmodói 20 – Világraszóló magyarok, világformáló találmányok (Dreamers of Dreams 20—World-renowned Hungarians, world-shaping inventions), you can also discover the careers of Hungarian scientists and inventors whose work contributed to the deeper exploration of space.
Experts from the Svábhegy Observatory also contributed to the astronomy and space-related material in the Dreamers of Dreams 20 exhibition. “We are delighted that the Svábhegy Observatory will be able to participate in future interactive programs related to the exhibition. It is good to see that many young people are interested in scientific discovery and are open to the future possibilities and applications of science,” said Márton Rózsahegyi, Project Manager of the Svábhegy Observatory.
The exhibition will be open for one year from the 15th of February 2022 at Millenáris.
